RRP Regulations and Pullman-Holt HEPA Vacuums
ATTENTION CONTRACTORS SUBJECT TO NEW RRP REGULATIONS - ALL PULLMAN-HOLT HEPA VACUUMS MEET OR EXCEED RRP REQUIREMENTS

Pullman-Holt HEPA Vacuums are designed for the efficient recovery of asbestos, lead, mold and many other hazardous materials. Each model meets or exceeds all EPA, OSHA and RRP filtration requirements.

Additionally:

  • Each Pullman-Holt HEPA Filter is tested and certified to provide a minimum efficiency of 99.97% at .3 microns based on IEST-RP-CC001 test requirements.
  • Each Pullman-Holt HEPA Filter is mounted on the sealed side of the motor, preventing the vacuum from being operated without the HEPA filter.
  • Each Pullman-Holt HEPA Filter comes with it's own individual test certificate for verification and on-site inspections.

Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule becomes effective April 22

As a contractor, you should prepare for a new EPA regulation that becomes effective April 22. The Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule addresses work performed in housing and child-occupied facilities built before 1978. If you disturb a surface area containing lead-based paint in a pre-1978 building, the EPA requires you become RRP certified and use specific work practices that prevent lead contamination.

Common construction, renovation and maintenance activities, such as grinding, sanding, drilling and cutting, can create hazardous levels of dust. Even small amounts can harm you, your employees and your customers.
