►Pullman-Holt introduced the first wet/dry HEPA vacuum in 1984. The 102ASB-12P was designed to recover asbestos, plus liquids that were used to minimize airborne particles during abatement. Earlier models were dry-only vacuums designed primarily to meet the needs of the U.S. Navy which was removing asbestos pipe insulation from submarines. The 102ASB-12P, with its 12 gallon tank, was a breakthrough HEPA vacuum design because it allowed professional abatement contractors to pick up vast amounts of water and other surfactants that were now required by EPA and OSHA for safe removal of asbestos.
►Like the 102ASB-12P, the 102ASB HEPA Drum Vacuum and 86HEPA-54C are equipped with wet shut-off modules. The 102HEPA Drum Vacuum offers 55 gallon capacity and the compact 86HEPA-5 provides 5 gallons of recovery capacity.
►The 30HEPA is a rugged portable backpack style vacuum that is ideal for professional abatement work in elevated or hard-to-reach areas.
